Larynx
Operations larynx
Direktoscopy
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia; it is a laryngeal speculum using an endoscope. During the procedure, samples are taken for histopathological examination.
Microsurgery of the larynx
Diagnostics and treatment of lesions of the vocal cords. Using an endoscope and appropriate surgical instruments, the anatomical structure of the vocal folds is assessed and sections of tissue fragments are taken for histopathological evaluation.
Surgery for lateral neck cyst (glycogenous, branchiogenic cyst)
A developmental defect resulting from abnormal closure of gill pockets during embryogenesis. The treatment of choice is surgical excision of the cyst. The acute condition should be cured before surgery.
Middle neck cyst surgery (cyst of the thyroglossal duct)
A developmental disorder involving the presence of remnants of the thyroglossal duct, which is the pathway for the movement of the thyroid gland from the floor of the mouth to the anterior space of the neck in human embryonic development (embryogenesis). The cyst is located in the midline of the neck near the hyoid bone. It may also contain thyroid fragments. The midline cyst requires surgical treatment. Sometimes it may succumb to purulent superinfection and break through to the outside of the neck skin. Extremely rarely, a malignant neoplasm can develop in the mid-neck cyst, most often as thyroid cancer.
