Endocrinology

Endocrinology is an area of medicine that studies the functioning of the endocrine system. During a consultation, an endocrinologist diagnoses the cause of endocrine disorders and develops a treatment plan for conditions such as thyroid disease, adrenal disease, obesity, diabetes, arteriosclerosis, hypertension or calcium-phosphate disorders. To diagnose and diagnose the condition, he may order blood and urine tests. The endocrinologist’s area of interest includes such glands as the thyroid and parathyroid glands, pituitary gland, thymus gland, pancreas, adrenal glands, ovaries and testes, and in women expecting a baby, also the placenta.

Endocrinology consultations at our Center are provided by Dr. Beata Cybulska – specialist in internal diseases, endocrinologist. She has gained many years of experience at Bielański Hospital in the First Department of Internal Diseases, the sub-department of endocrinological diagnostics and the sub-department of diabetology and metabolic disorders.
