Upper eyelid correction in Krajmed
It is performed for aesthetic and ophthalmological indications (restricted field of vision, drooping eyelids). The method used by Dr. Michal Krawczynski involves removing excess skin and functionally strengthening a structure called the orbital septum using a special electrode.
Orbital septal flaccidity is a major factor in the need for upper eyelid correction.
In the described technique, there is no need to cut through the orbital septum and the so-called “fat removal”. This makes it a safe method – the risk of serious complications such as loss of vision is eliminated.
The procedure can be performed during local anesthesia.
