NOSE EXAMINATION Warsaw ( Mokotów , Ursynów, Służew)
Rhinometry – assesses nasal patency. Applied to the nostrils of the nose, the sensor olives measure the difference in pressure of air flowing between the back and front of the nose. As a result, the airflow through the right and left nasal cavities is assessed.
Ciliary mobility tests – involves introducing fine substances into the nasal cavities and observing their movement through the nasal cavities toward the throat.
ENDOSCOPIC EXAMINATION OF THE THROAT
Endoscopic – an examination that involves the insertion of an endoscope (an apparatus that allows light and optics to be brought into the pharyngeal cavity for examination). Endoscopic examinations of the throat are carried out with the help of professional equipment, which on a computer monitor allows to show a hypertrophied third tonsil, pathologically altered palatine tonsils, crooked nasal septum, hypertrophy of the nasal auricles, nasal polyps, vocal cords, etc.
RESPIRATORY TRACK TESTS
Spirometry – A test that measures the volume and capacity of the lungs and the flow of air found in the lungs and bronchi during different phases of the respiratory cycle.
CRTANES RESEARCH
Directoscopy – A procedure performed under general anesthesia; it is a laryngectomy using an endoscope. During the procedure, samples are taken for histopathological examination.
