Emilia Karchier

She graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw (now the Medical University of Warsaw) in 2005. From 2006 to 2018, she worked as a resident and then as an assistant at the Otolaryngology Clinic of the Medical University of Warsaw, where, under the supervision of experienced physicians and scientists, she gained specialized knowledge and surgical experience in the head and neck area.
In 2013, she obtained her specialist title in otorhinolaryngology, and in 2015, she defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Assessment of the usefulness of endoscopy in the surgery of chronic otitis media,” earning her PhD. She specializes in nasal surgery, endoscopic surgery of the paranasal sinuses, oral cavity, and middle ear, with a particular interest in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. She also performs procedures on children. She updates her knowledge and refines her surgical skills annually during surgical training courses and ENT conferences. She is the author of several publications in Polish and international scientific journals and two chapters in textbooks, published in Polish and English. She is a member of the Polish Society of Otolaryngologists – Head and Neck Surgeons.
