Lower Blepharoplasty

Lower Blepharoplasty

The treatment is used to reduce highlighted tissue and is most frequently performed because of aesthetic indications. Involves the removal or relocation of excess body fat, often distorting the weakened orbital septum, and sometimes a small reduction of excess skin. In the technique used by Michal Krawczyński M.D. Ph.D.  operation is performed from the inside of the lid without interference with the orbital septum, because within the lower eyelid easily occur cicatricial shrinkage of the structure and eyelid deformation during the postoperative healing period. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia, because it can be painful. Lower eyelid plastic surgery can be combined with upper eyelid plasty.
