Correction of lower eyelids

It is used for the reduction of the accentuated tissue, usually from aesthetic indications. It consists in removing or moving the excess fat tissue, often distorting the weakened orbital septum and sometimes a slight reduction of the excess skin. In the technique used by Krawczyński, PhD the operation takes place from the inner side of the eyelid and without any interference with the septum of the orbit, because within the lower eyelid this structure can easily shrink and deform the eyelid during the post-operative healing period. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia as it may be painful. The plasticity of lower eyelids can be combined with the plasticity of upper eyelids.
